Qualifying Financial Entity

Spicers Portfolio Management has been granted Qualifying Financial Entity (QFE) status by the Financial Markets Authority (formerly the Securities Commission).  As well as operating under Spicers QFE umbrella, all Spicers advisers will individually become Authorised Financial Advisers.

QFE status is part of the Financial Advisers Act 2008 (FAA), which came fully into force on 1 July 2011. The Act sets new professional standards for financial advisers and gives the Financial Markets Authority power to regulate people and entities who give financial advice.
